The Flowmax plant was developed in response to the need for high flow dewatering equipment that could quickly dewater large volumes of sludge to the point that the solids are in a workable state and the filtrate clean enough to be re-used or discharged.
While vacuum belt filtration technology is widely used in a number of industries, Flowmax is a significant departure from existing technology. Through extensive field testing it has shown significant benefits in terms of substantially higher flow rates, reduced moisture content in many sludges and slurries and a reduction in both capital and operating cost.
